今日は、東京国際映画祭と同時に開催されている東京国際ＣＧ映像祭に行ってきました。開場時刻前にはもうすでにたくさんの人が並んでいました。開場は、六本木アカデミーヒルズ。今日は、ヨーロッパ初のＣＧ映画である「ケイナ」の日本初の試写会で、舞台挨拶に、プロデューサーと、監督さんがいらっしゃいました。ＣＧといえば、今までは、ハリウッドのピクサー、ドリームワークスなどでしたが、これからは、ヨーロッパの映画も期待できそうです。
実は、隣の隣の席にジョージルーカスの設立したILMの社長であるジム・モリス氏が座っており、映画終了後に声をかけてみたら、快く挨拶をしてくださった。尊敬する人なので、かなりうれしい経験であった。
